JOB TITLE: Dietetics/Nutrition Program Staff

REPORTS TO: Logistics Coordinators and Dining and Catering Services Manager
Description of Position
The Dietetics/Nutrition Program Staff will design and implement specific dietary meals with written recipes to be carried out for all campers in a given session. Meals should be developed around camper needs, interests, and goals. Meals should also be based around the theme of the main meal. The Dietetics/Nutrition Program Staff will work closely with the Dining and Catering Services Manager to create healthy meal alternatives for campers and staff and to develop new, healthier menu items throughout Bradford Woods. On Check-In days, the Dietetics/Nutrition Program Staff will collect specific dietary needs from campers and families to be used in the kitchen's production. The Dietetics/Nutrition Program Staff will assist with preparing and distributing pack-out meals during Challenge Day and Campouts, and if applicable to specific camps, organize Thursday pizza nights and teach cooking activities during activity periods. The Dietetics/Nutrition Program Staff will also complete various tasks that will supplement his/her experience and benefit the campers; these tasks include but are not limited to calorie counts, nutritional data on various meals, etc. This position lives in the cabins for the duration of the summer and assists campers with whatever level of personal care deemed necessary. When not in the kitchen, the Dietetics/Nutrition Program Staff will be working with the campers from his/her cabin.
All staff must be 18 years of age by the first day of camp.
